| Hole 7 |
|
The seventh is a wonderful test and only one thing will suffice on this short hole—hit the green just about 140 yards away. Two strategically placed and very penal bunkers along with some daunting terrain surround the shallow almost redan-like green on this the second of the short holes. It is good for the player that it plays against the prevailing wind thereby effecting a soft landing for the shot in. The putting surface is comparatively flat but as a result, difficult to read. The heavy shadowing afforded by the huge surrounding Eucalyptus trees compounds the green reading challenge. This hole presents an excellent birdie opportunity and also holds potential to bedevil the unwary or unlucky with a bogey or worse. | | |
