| Hole 8 |
|
The eighth is the fourth in the sequence of nine holes in a row played against the prevailing wind. This hole is of only moderate length for a modern par five but is defended by six well-placed bunkers. For most players it will be a three shot hole with the third being blind or semi-blind to a small flat raised green. There is a boundary on the left along the entire length of the hole and if a player misses the plateau fairway to the right he is in danger of making six. Check the flagstick position while playing from the second tee. If you are first off you may be privileged to see a bobcat that hunts near the small pond and underbrush that is close to the teeing ground of this hole. | | |
